Catholic Charities of Columbia and Greene Counties serves, empowers, and advocates for persons in need. Services in Columbia County include SNAP/Food Stamp application assistance through the Nutrition Education and Outreach Program (NOEP), Women, Infants, Children (WIC) Supplemental Nutrition Program; WIC Peer Breastfeeding Counseling Program; Alcohol and Substance Abuse Prevention Education Program; Facilitated Supervised Visitation Program; Parenting Enrichment; Kinship Caregiving Program; Hospitality Services for Hudson Correctional Facility; Emergency Assistance and Food Pantry.

Provides supports and services to meet the needs of those living with or at risk for HIV/AIDS and other chronic medical conditions and their loved ones, regardless of orientation, lifestyle or belief. This is accomplished by service and programs including: health home care coordination, intensive and supportive case management; Project Safe Point (syringe disposal, access/exchange services, recovery readiness counseling, treatment access, HIV/Hepatitis testing and opioid overdose prevention); linguistic services (medical interpretation for those with limited English proficiency); housing support services; personal care closet; and emergency financial assistance. The agency functions in a consultative manner for the entire Catholic Charities system and the Diocese in matters related to HIV/AIDS.

Provides a wide range of services to individuals of all ages with developmental and related disabilities and their families. Services include, but are not limited to the following: residential placement; residential and respite services offered to individuals in their own homes and community settings; family support services; independent service coordination; Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) services; advocacy; referral; Prader-Willi Syndrome services.
