Several years ago Catholic Charities worked long and hard to develop a set of quality assurance standards and the related policies/procedures both at a system wide as well as local level. That initiative has set the stage for our Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Program. The Board of Trustees (BOT) felt that it is time to look beyond just the compliance aspect of quality. While compliance always will be of importance, CQI will allow us to implement a comprehensive process in which staff identifies, plans, and implements ongoing improvements in service delivery. The goal is to create a culture of learning throughout the Catholic Charities system. Catholic Charities has posted the Executive Overview for the Continuous Quality Improvement Process.
