Emergency Energy Assistance for 2017

Catholic Charities Community Challenge

When cold weather hits, local residents and people struggling to pay bills are left wondering how they can make ends meet and still keep warm. Catholic Charities has already reported increasing demand for basic assistance with household energy needs. Thanks to the very generous $90,000 National Grid Foundation grant, an estimated 500 households will be assisted this heating season in our Diocese.

As part of its specialized effort to serve those with such basic needs, Catholic Charities has partnered with National Grid in challenging the greater community to contribute to this Emergency Energy Assistance Fund (EEAF). Your donation to this challenge grant helps families in need of energy and heating help – especially families who are not covered by other programs. 100% of all contributions will directly support individuals and families with their emergency energy needs.
