Catholic Charities Honors Fort Plain Residents for Flood Recovery Efforts

Catholic Charities Honors Fort Plain Residents for Flood Recovery Efforts

On Tuesday, Catholic Charities recognized several Fort Plain residents for their efforts in rebuilding after flooding devastated the area in 2013.  Those honored include Fort Plain's former Mayor, Guy Barton, who died this summer. Barton was considered instrumental in the recovery efforts, and became an advocate for the people of Fort Plain after the floods.

Rev. Gail Adamoschek, Rev. Alan Griffith, Rev. Dennis Murphy, Rev. Nancy E. Ryan, and Cyndi Tracy were also honored for their extraordinary service and perseverance.  Further coverage of the award ceremony can be found at twcnews.com and wamc.org
