Statement on Cohoes Fire Fund

Catholic Charities received the funds from the Cohoes Fire Fund on Tuesday, January 16th and has begun connecting with the Cohoes fire survivors to start the Disaster Case Management process. Catholic Charities Housing Office awarded TJX Foundation Grant

The Catholic Charities Housing Office was recently awarded a TJX Foundation Grant. The $10,000 grant will be used in support of Mercy House. A Shelter for Women and Children located in Albany, Mercy House has 19 shelter beds and 2 transitional (longer stay) shelter beds.

Six Catholic Charities employees recently returned home from a voluntary two week deployment in Houston, Texas. There, the team - our very own "Albany Angels"- assisted with Hurricane Recovery efforts. The crew arrived back home on Sunday, October 1st, tired but happy to be back in New York.
