Advocacy

Advocating on behalf of those who don't have a voice is an important part of Catholic Charities' mission to help our neighbors in need - it's another way we try to put our Christian mission into action. Contacting your elected representatives on the issues that affect the poor and vulnerable is a critical part to fulfilling our social duty to the least among us in our society. By using the Advocacy tool on the Catholic Conference's website, you can reach out to legislators to advocate. Visit their website at http://www.nyscatholic.org/nys-catholic-conference-action-center or www.nyscatholic.org.

You can also visit the Diocese of Albany at www.rcda.org for a Catholic perspective on current legislative issues affecting New Yorkers.
