March's Employee and Volunteer of the Month

At Catholic Charities, we're once again recognizing our “CC Heroes” – our staff and volunteers who work tirelessly in service of our neighbors. Each month, we're honoring a staff person and a volunteer from a different Catholic Charities agency and highlighting their work.

This month, we're pleased to recognize the staff and volunteers from Catholic Charities Senior and Caregiver Support Services' Meals on Wheels program.

Our Meals on Wheels volunteers have really stepped! All last year, they provided reliable, friendly and caring service to the people we serve. They adapted right alongside the staff when things got tough and have continued to provide meals with a smile and dignity to our clients. They come from all walks of life: college students, stay at home parents, retirees, even full-time employees. Their gift of time means less hunger among the older adults we serve, and we are pleased to honor this group with March's Sister Maureen Joyce Award:

 The staff at our Meals on Wheels program have adapted in a truly incredible way over this past year. They added routes to reach new people, they're checking in with older adults daily, and they're providing comfort and community to the people we serve and their families. Through their dedication, on any given day and in any type of weather, they help over 250 adults by providing meals and connection each day. We are pleased to recognize this group as this month's Sister Serena Branson Award recipient:
