From February 22nd through the 26th, Catholic Charities Housing Office is celebrating Hope for the Homeless, a week-long virtual event to benefit the Catholic Charities Housing Office. Each day this week, we’ll be sharing with you stories and a videos highlighting the work of the Catholic Charities Housing Office and the people they serve. The money we raise will go to support homeless people right here in our community.
Last year, your support helped 859 people in our housing programs. This past year has been particularly challenging. In addition to our traditional case management and supportive programs, we've provided our residents with PPE and assisted them to get set up to work or learn from home. It's been stressful for everyone, and our residents are no exception. As a result, people have needed even more support than usual and Catholic Charities is proudly working to provide them with the support they need.
This week, it is our goal to raise $35,000 to help this work continue into 2021 and beyond. To do so, we're asking our neighbors to make a donation in support of the people who come to Catholic Charities because they are struggling to meet life’s challenges. Now the need is even greater because of the COVID-19 crisis.
