Renovations Uplift Sunnyside
Catholic Charities' Sunnyside Child Development Center is getting some major improvements: new flooring, new light fixtures and a brand new roof!
These much-needed renovations will create a safer, nicer and all-around more supportive environment for our Sunnyside children to learn and grow.
“Renovations such as these are critical to ensuring that essential children and family services, like Sunnyside, remain etched in the North Central Troy community for future generations. All children deserve a safe place to learn and grow," said Jenn Hyde, Executive Director of Catholic Charities Tri-County Services.
"Catholic Charities' Sunnyside Center is a safe haven for children in the area, providing a safe and educational space to learn, grow and simply be a kid," said Sister Betsy Van Deusen, CEO of Catholic Charities. "It is inspiring to see these improvements come to fruition. Sunnyside is an invaluable resource for families, and with these improvements, it will continue to benefit those families in the years to come."
Sunnyside, a program of Catholic Charities Tri-County Services, operates early child development, after-school & summer programs for children in the City of Troy, ages 6 weeks-12 years old.
