Our Lady of the Assumption Parish “Socks it to Them” with $1,000 Raised for Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany
On Sunday, February 26th, 2023, parishioners at Our Lady of the Assumption Church generously gifted $1,000 from their Souper Bowl of Caring fundraiser to support the local food pantries and soup kitchens, like the Sister Maureen Joyce Center- run by Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany.Additionally, a parish-wide sock collection was held, as well as a contest collection from elementary-aged kids through the church’s faith formation sessions.
