Manages housing and retirement communities for seniors and individuals with mobility impairments. DePaul Housing communities offer market rate one- and two-bedroom apartments and cottages and subsidized one-bedroom and studio apartments. All applicants for subsidized communities must be income qualified; senior applicants must meet age eligibility requirements. Eligibility is determined based on an application and an eligibility interview. DePaul Housing is committed to providing equal housing opportunities.

The program enables family members to maintain their quality of life while caring for their loved one at home. The program offers respite and support services throughout the 14 counties of the Diocese.

The program protects the health, safety, welfare, human, and civil rights of people living in nursing homes, adult care facilities, and family type homes in 10 counties - Albany, Rensselaer, Schenectady, Schoharie, Fulton, Montgomery, Saratoga, Warren, Washington, and Hamilton. Trained, state-certified volunteers and staff Ombudsman visit nursing homes, adult care facilities, and family type homes to advocate for improved care and quality of life for residents by investigating complaints or concerns expressed and working cooperatively with facilities to resolve issues on residents' behalf.
